Julie, I am so sorry to hear your story. All to familiar. And very scary for the patient and for us care takers. I am finding more and more patients with leg and back pain. My husband is getting cortisone shots in his spine but they have not helped. He gasps a lot now. I can see him progressing very quickly. Sounds like your husband is progressing even faster.
